About us and the role
We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and experienced Senior Administrator (Attendance and Admissions), based at Krishna Avanti Primary School, Leicester, to play a key role in the effective running of the school.
This is a pivotal position, with responsibility for leading attendance and admissions processes and supporting key whole-school priorities.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will drive improvements in pupil attendance, ensure robust and compliant systems are in place, and provide accurate reporting to inform decision-making. You will also work collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies to promote positive outcomes for all pupils.

What will you do?
• Lead and manage whole-school attendance processes, using data analysis to monitor trends, improve punctuality, and address absence effectively.
• Work closely with pupils, families, staff and external agencies to promote good attendance and ensure safeguarding and legal requirements are met.
• Oversee and administer school admissions, including coordination with the local authority, managing waiting lists, and supporting pupil transitions.
• Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to senior leaders, including reporting, data management, and school communications.
• Line manage and develop administrative staff, ensuring efficient systems, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective day-to-day school operations.
