About us and the role

We are delighted to invite applications from enthusiastic, committed and reflective Class Teachers who are passionate about making a lasting difference in young people’s lives. This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming primary school where every child is valued as an individual and where high expectations, strong relationships and inclusive practice sit at the heart of everything we do.

As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for inspiring a love of learning, securing strong progress and outcomes for all pupils, and creating a classroom environment where children feel safe, supported and motivated to achieve their very best. You will build positive relationships rooted in dignity, respect and care, and contribute to a school culture that places equal importance on academic success, character development and wellbeing.

You will deliver a rich and engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of your pupils, using effective assessment and thoughtful differentiation to ensure every learner can thrive. Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, parents and external partners, you will play an active role in the wider life of the school and contribute to its continued development and success.

We are looking for a teacher who has high expectations of both pupils and themselves, who reflects on their practice, and who is committed to inclusive education and safeguarding. Whether you are an early career teacher or an experienced practitioner, you will be supported through high-quality professional development, strong teamwork and a shared commitment to continual improvement.

If you are passionate about primary education, motivated to make a positive impact, and excited by the opportunity to work within a supportive, values-driven school, we would love to hear from you.

School visits are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school to arrange a suitable time.

Our school is a vibrant, exciting place to be that is open to big ideas and creativity, all with a genuine focus on pupil and staff wellbeing.

“Through our yoga sessions, children are learning to self-regulate, they are learning that they have the ability to control themselves, to try and calm themselves down and to be in the moment” - Sara Thompson, Yoga Teacher
